We take meat care seriously. After your harvest, all meat is packed out promptly and brought back to base camp. There, it’s cooled and stored to maintain top condition. If you’re planning to take meat home, we recommend bringing coolers or a freezer. We can help you cut, wrap, and freeze portions to prepare for your travels. For those who can’t take it all, rest assured, none of it goes to waste. Throughout the season any surplus at the end is shared with our crew, family, and friends. We believe in using every part of the animal responsibly.
At Last Frontier Hunting Co., we treat your trophy with the utmost care. After your harvest, we flesh and salt-dry the cape and safely transport all parts back to base camp for prep and packing. Driving hunters can load their trophies directly for the trip home. For those flying, we coordinate shipping through Dakota Taxidermy in North Dakota. They handle permits and shipping to the taxidermist of your choice. Coolers or proper containers are recommended for transport.
